Gas prices have some worrying about possible price gouging violations

New Haven Register -- The impact that Hurricane Isaac had on oil refining operations along the Gulf of Mexico still is being felt at service stations across Connecticut, as the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the state has risen to its highest level since early April.

A little more than two weeks after the hurricane made landfall in Louisiana, the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in Connecticut was at $4.15 per gallon Saturday, according to the web site GasBuddy.com, an increase of 14 cents per gallon from where it was at the end of August.

John Felmy, chief economist for the American Petroleum Institute, said production from the nation’s oil refineries was down by 400,000 barrels a day because of the hurricane. That decline in production, combined with crude oil prices on

I guess us Americans just wanta be pussywhooped into accepting 5 to 10 cents each month off each existing $1.00 bill value. Ahhh shucks, what a shame... booo hooo. But the deal here in America it seems, is that nobody really cares, nobody protests, we justa suckit all up. Suckers. So next time there's talks of more "price gouging" I'd suggest that 'mericans, just suckitallup and then forgetaboutit.

They still find enough gasoline and oil for exporting each month though while sticking it to us at the pump.
